The dj was a great time and so was the atmosphere. He played all the old school r&b jams (which is hard to find now a day). Every staff member from security, to stockers, to waitresses, hookah and managment was friendly and hospitable. They were engaging and had fun, vibrant personalities. My FAVORITE person was Jessica (who also shared my name). We are now besties in my mind. Lol. She was even hyping me up when I was on stage for Karaoke and joining in on the song. She was super attentive while we were there. My sister and I just came to kill some time before our flight and we almost missed it because we got caught up having such a good time. I hate that I found out about this place so late but it will be my new go to when I come to Atlanta. It truly is a hidden gem. Every place needs a Jessica!! 😉

My party of 6 traveled from California and we had the best time at backstage. The shot girl Topanga was great . The dj was awesome. Thank you for the experience we learned so much about atlanta & the Douglas family best $200.00 spent thus far .

SHON was an amazing server! If you visit, definitely ask for her. The live band on Wednesday was great, the vibes were perfect, and the food came out hot with a beautiful view. The teriyaki vegetable dish with chicken and the bang bang shrimp were absolutely delicious — chef’s kiss! 👩🏽‍🍳💋 I highly recommend this place. Finding out it’s been here 18 years and is Black-owned made the experience even better. Great vibes, music, food, and service!

Brandee is the best class instructor! Her classes on Tuesday bring me so much joy. She’s patient with beginners and encouraging for everyone present. She does an excellent job and makes it worth attending every week.

The lamb sliders were amazing. They were so fresh. The service is good. 9pm to close it gets really busy. You will have a great time.

I (@ThePopupJunction) recently designed a section for my client at Backstage and the guests had a blast. Considering I was working I opted not to drink but my food was delicious (fried catfish, shrimp, fries and a salad, pink lemonade). Thursday Karaoke nights are the best! Old school R&B, diverse age group, causal dress, good food options!

Omg we stopped in coming from Birmingham going back to Knoxville Tennessee. Our bartender Jessica was the BEST EVER Great personality, funny, engaged in conversation, drinks was on point, she gave us a run down on food items . Was very attentive and she was so sweet and pretty. Definitely had the best bartenders Jessica gave us the type of service everyone deserves and definitely will keep customers coming back. Backstage is definitely blessed to have an employee like Jessica

We had an absolute blast at Backstage in Atlanta! From start to finish, the experience was top tier. The reservation process was easy and smooth, and they had no problem accommodating our large party, which we really appreciated. We went on Thursday for karaoke night, and the vibe was perfect. Karaoke was fun and well organized, and once it wrapped up, the DJ immediately kept the energy going by playing all the good music, both in between singers and after karaoke ended. The MC was on point, fun, energetic, and really kept the crowd engaged the whole night. Our waitress, Topanga, was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our group was taken care of all night without missing a beat. Everything about the night flowed well, the energy was great, and we genuinely enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be back!

This was my 1st time at Backstage. Great spot to enjoy drinks and food with friends. Security at the door is an added plus. No riff raff at this spot. The servers were excellent, friendly and attentive to needs. Both DJ and Live band were a nice touch. Steppers class being taught on Wednesdays from 7-9pm(Class Act Steppers). Very nice. I would definitely come back.

I love $2 tacos and line dancing on Tuesday nights.The bartender Pam makes some amazing drinks. My favorite is the top shelf margarita. Its a whole vibe! You can plan a girls night or a birthday party! The staff can accommodate it all.
